would those work? Not sure what length the theads need to be, but these have the 8mm base threads and 3/8 stud threads

so will these work cause all the heads i have are the 8mm studs. the only 10mm stud size heads i have are from my old 99 3400 no sense in downgrading the heads just to use the rockers.

and those ford ones look good but are there any full roller ones, or would the ford ones provide the same benefit as the full roller ones.

Yes the studs work I have used them on a Chev 4.3L.

I think the change was in '02, correct? My '00 3400 heads have 10mm holes and the '04 3500 heads have 8mm. If you have studs now, make sure you take them out and check the threads, some of them have 8mm studs sticking out, but the hole is 10mm.

Well as far as roller or not, you get roller tips instead of roller fulcrum. What is better? I can't answer that, but I like the fact that they will be adjustable and if head gasket thickness is changed, the rods could be re-used.

both sets of heads i have are 03 and then my old 99 ones. the 03 ones are definately 8mm. i think it was 02 cant remember right now.

ill double check tomorrow all that crap is downstairs.

so the roller tip ones will be good. the ones in that ebay link dont look bad. and for roughly 200 for the studs and rockers aint too bad of a deal.

The pushrod guides from a 94 do not fit the 3500 heads without modification, due to the ports being so much larger. I think they might still work with a little grinding .
