  • Accel 8130/8133

What's the difference between the 8130 Accel cap and the 8133? According to Summit Racing the 8130 has "clips" and the 8133 has screws. Anybody know? I bought an 8133, the ad said it fit all 173 V6's and so much stuff interchanges I figured it would work. But then I found out that the number for an '86 S10 was 8130. EDIT: The S10's (I think) have the "L" shaped clamp type hold down. The other V6's must have a drilled and tapped hole in the dist. for the screws. Am I correct on this?

It wasent a 4.3L distributor was it? They all used screws. Which by the way were notorious for stripping. Im glad I have the clips.
