  • 62mm or 65mm throttle body?

Hello. I have an UIM ported for a 62mm throttle body that I want to get a TB for. Is it better to get a 62mm so it's the same size all the way through or will I get better results from a 65mm? Thanks

Well, If I where you, I'd get the 65, then if you didn't feel like porting the whole plenum to 65mm, then just taper the opening from 65mm to the 62mm slightly.

me...if i'm spending the 275 for either TB, i'd get the bigger. the 9mm increase will be nicely noticeable.

Yeah now that I think about it I guess it's the obvious choice. Even if I just bolt it on now I can always port the manifold later on. Thanks for the ideas guys.
