camshaft

i have a 91 corsica with a 3.1 and a 3speed auto what would be the best camshaft for it it will be driven everyday so i dont want to get to crazy with it. will the x-11 cam work and will it give a performance increase? i'm thinking
about doing the 3400 top end swap if i do this i want to put a beter cam in it.

since you are doing the swap, and don't want to get crazy, i'd go with the Crane Cams H260. i eventually will be doing the swap too but either will do the H272 or convert to roller. the 260 will give you a nice overall gain, especially with the swap. don't waste your time with the X-11 cam. the H260 would be great weather you swap or not.

Crane 272
Crane 260

I'm using the 272 for my 3.4L build, but my build is going to be pretty wild.

I believe that if you want a little more oompf but you're not going heavily modified then choose the crane 260.

yeah, if you aren't going to do a hybrid swap then the 260 will be the best choice. if you are hybriding, then the 272 will be good. if a daily driver, opt for the smaller cam. it will give you more bottom to mid range torque and better mileage.
