Only problem I see with running the TGP code is it runs off of DIS, no distributor. I'm not saying that it can't run off a dist, but I don't think it is ready to stock. You can just get a chip burnt for a 2-bar map sensor for a Fiero ecm. That should also work well for your setup. That is what I ran for about 8 months till I went with a stand-alone ecu.

ya the 2bbl supercharger would work, but im goin for reliability this winter, not knocking superchargers or carbs.. I want somthing that I can bag all winter and a turbocharged m.p.f.i. sounds like the ideal winter engine in my mind..
So who burns these chips for the fiero ecu's and how is it done?? Im electronicaly inclined I so would asume I could do it myself.. also is it olny the fiero ecu or can u do it to any of the mpfi ones??VIDEO Acadian http://videos.streetfire.net/video/8...7f00197eea.htm

Probably a little late, but you don't neccesarily need a map based ecm to run boost on these engines, the maf system that came with many iorn-head engines can be used with a turbo setup. Tuning is mandatory nomatter which route you take, but if you wanted to go the maf route you'd have to place the maf sensor before the turbo to read actual airflow. Placing the maf after the turbo would give false readings because of the heat turbocharging produces (the housing might leak too). Another benefit of using a maf system is that theoretically you're not restricted to how much you can boost your engine, map systems can only read pressure up to a point (2bar rating=2x atmosphere). Food for thought.Increasingly I find the difference between a "fact" and an opinion is the number of people who believe it.
