  • L67/3X00SFI interchangable parts???

Just a couple of questions i have for anyone who knows first hand...

Will the springs, and rockers swap right over from the L67 heads to the 00+ 3X00 heads??

    What about the throttlebody???

I have an L67 lying around, and im either going to sell it as a whole, or just take what i want out of of it if i can use any of the parts for my GTP, or my 3100 beater....any info would be appretiated, im drilling and changing my thermostat on the beater tomarrow and while i have a few things unbolted, im just wondering if any of these parts are interchangable

you are talking 2 completly different beasts. the roots of the l67 are buick, were the 60 degree is chevy. nothing is common between them (mabey coils), even sim-ple things like the coil module, tb, maf, ect are different.

you can use a few bolts here and there... that's about it.

the rockers in the 3100 are allready roller fulcrum 1.6's, the 3800's aren't any better. TB's won't match up w/o an adapter, i allready checked. Save your injectors, if they're in good shape i might buy them from you in December when i start putting my 3x00 together.

Thats just a big no. Two totally different engine and arcitectures. 3x00 is a 60 degree block, 3800 is 90 degree. One has aluminum heads one has iron heads. They use the same ignition coils and thats about all. You can use the L67 injectors with some slight modification to the wiring harness too.
