3100 timing cover help PLEASE!!!!!

OK guys. For some stupid reason, while i was rebuilding my 1995 3100 i apparently junked the timing cover. I have about 3 old 1992 3.1 laying around for parts. Can i use the timing cover off of one of these as long as i shave the P/S mount down to accept the 1995 P/S pump? Any other issues i will run in to? Thanks in advance guys!!

if I remember correctly, the boss above the W/P for the coolant tube is different too. I believe the gen 2 had 2 bolts in the flange where the gen 3 had 1 and they were oriented differently. also there are 2 of the mounting holes that go to the block are smaller. finally the nipple for the radiator hose is smaller on the gen 3.
