radiator fan relay

I've got a 1987 celebrity with the 2.8 v 6. The temp gauge has never worked and the fan just stopped working as well.

I've replaced the single wire sensor on the back of the engine and the two wire temp sensor by the thermostat.

I have already checked all of the fuses under the dash.
I am looking for the radiator fan relay to check that.

Does anybody know where that is?
Neither my Hanes manual or the car manual call out relays.

Autozone has some repair info help. There is no diagram but they have a parts location description under 'Radiator Cooling Fan Motor Relay' stating 'Under hood, driver side, front side of strut tower, mounted on fenderwell.'
