no gas pedal???

ok when i push my gas pedal more than a quarter f the way down my truck jumps and wont go anywhere!!! if i push the pedal all the way down it bauges down and acts like its gonna die!! what should i do? Any suggestions on what it could be?

I'll blindly guess that you have a bad throttle position sensor.

engine size
auto or manual
mileage
how long has it done this? any other symptoms? is there a check engine light? etc.

edit: Changed my mind on my blind guess. From what I read of your post you said above 1/4 throttle it bogs or jumps and dies. I take it that means it is idling ok and running ok under light throttle (only a little gas pedal). My new blind guess is that you have a failing fuel pump that is not providing adequate pressure/volume for larger throttle angles. But provide more info and we can help you better, I'm really just shooting in the dark with my guesses.

could be a mass air if its a vortech, but who knows? guess we have to guess what vehicle he has... maybe its a Ford?

If its got a carb, the jets should be cleaned. I had a similar problem with my Blazer except it bogged throughout the entire powerband.
