codes 33 and 45.. causes?

33 is "MAP sensor out of range; high" and 45 is "oxygen sensor rich exhaust"... I know it needs a good tune up so i'm thinking thats what the 45 code is from. And i'm going to clean the map sensor monday. But if cleaning and a tune up doesn't fix it what all could it be? Its a 89 Beretta 2.8. The exhaust also has a huge leak right before the cat also , so could that do it? lol

i've never actually seen a MAP get cleaned before.... as far as the O2 rich code, a full tune-up may get rid of it for you. be sure to disconnect both ECM fuses for a minute or two to clear the codes when you're done.

Yea after i thought about it i was thinking of a MAF, not MAP being able to be cleaned lol. But i'll tell you what, the dang map sensor is hidden on a Beretta... Its mounted on the firewall under a plastic shroud. I decided to check the vac line since i did just put the top end back together 2 days ago. Its on there though and isn't leaking from what i can tell. I'll be back once i get the tune up done.

just looking at the list, and something wrong with the MAP could be causing the rich O2 code as well... if the ECM thinks the motor is running at 80kPa and 1200 RPM, but it's actually at 1200RPM and 40kPa, then there's a whole lot of extra fuel getting dumped in... ergo, the O2 code.
