    Use the EGR that is proper for the ECM and adapt it to fit the intake manifold.

        about 10,000 different things....
        1995 Monte Carlo LS 3100, 4T60E...for now, future plans include driving it until the wheels fall off!

          You will have to read the codes to know. Got to an auto parts store, they will read the codes for free (some/most do anyways), then post the codes you are getting and we can help better

            Blinking SES = Bad Misfire (often times Random Cylinder Misfire). But as said, get your car scanned so you know exactly.

            Are you sure you got ur plugs in the right order? Did you hook up the fuel injectors in the wrong order since you had the spark plugs in the wrong order? (I don't remember if the wires are long enough to plug the fuel injectors in the wrong way).

              PCGUY112887 you might be right I had swapped the injectors from the venture engine so they might be in the wrong order. i will check tomorrow.

              about the cts where have you installed it? in the same place as the 3400 engine? there seems to be less meat on the 3500 LIM for the cts, will it be okay to installed it there?

                  What year 3500? The electrical connector should fit.... Just find an early 2000+ 3x00 EGR then it will fit and bolt up too.

                    i don't know what year is the EGR but I think it is a late model egr for the 3500. it bolt up but the connector is different. I will go to the junk yard for another egr.

                      hi I got another little problem. code P0305 cylinder 5 missfire where should i begin with this problem? it seem that my check enngine light flashes sometimes. sommetime it runs great but when Im at a dead stop it idle rough. I checked for spark, it seems to have spark on the coil and when I unhook other cylinders it dosen't stall or get worst.If someone as an Idea it is welcome!

                          my plug and wire a new from the swap. the coils and ICM are from the 3100 ( I suppose they were working fine.)

                            How are the injectors? Im not sure how it detects missfires but I thought it can report that if the injector doesn't work right (possibly open circuit). Maybe that one is bad or the splice (assuming you spliced harness together) is bad.

                              depends on the BIN, some have the DTC enabled, some don't.

                                I had a Tahoe with 4 stuck injectors (350 Vortec SUCKS!) and it detected it as a missfire, but only on cylinder #5, lol. Luckily it's an iron head, so I was able to pull the coil and crank it over to see which plugs were dry and which were wet to find out which injectors weren't firing.
