Last night I was driving my '84 S10 4x4 when the carb'd 2.8 started cutting in and out. It recovered and I was able to make it home with it happening only once more.
It was cutting out more sharply than a stumble/cough. I need to replace the fuel filter and intend to do it this weekend, but if that doesn't fix it I'll be wondering if it might be electrical or ignition related.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
