Hey guys,
I finally got around to installing to the new 255 Walbro fuel pump kit I bought from APE in my ’91 Chevy Beretta. Everything was smooth as cake up until it came to replacement of the fuel pump o-ring. The new ring is not as big as the old one that has been stretched out for 17 years. So, 2 questions:
1) Is it ok to just put the old one back on?
2) Is there some kind of trick to getting the new o-ring to stay in the groove of the tank lip, so I can tighten the pump collar? Maybe some kind of stretch I need to do to it?
Thanks!
