Getting ready to bring out the beast again and I was thinking about using Valvoline VR1 oil this year, has anybody used it here? Being a GM tech I used GM 10W30 last year (Rotella 15w40 for the initial break in) and changed it very often since its dirt cheap for me along with a bottle of EOS.

Its alittle thick. If you have big clearances then its a good oil but that stuff don't flow too well at start up.

I found that rotella t held the best oil pressure for me, and I run it in 4 of 6 of my cars.....seems to hold good oil pressure when it is cold and warm which is important to me. In my one berreta the valve seals are shot and it burns oil, with the rotella t it smokes and burns a lot less oil.
