Blew mine out. Just wondered if there is anything that I need to know before I tear it down. Or is it pretty much just like a SBC tear down? Any querks or dangers in doing it.? Thanks in advance

2.8L Intake Manifold Replacement

Nothing special. Just like in a SBC in pretty much every aspect. Just be sure to remove all oil from the mating surfaces with Acetone since it is the strongest and cleanest solvent (read: won't leave residue.)1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma

Power washed the aluminum intake manifold, and used carb-cleaner for iron-heads.
Also, used a good shop vac too.
Never read up on what is proper...but it works for me...
