3100 swap and mounts ?'s

I have a 93 berretta with a 3.1 5 speed and I am wanting to change over to an entire 3100 motor. The problem I am having is the framework that attaches to the passenger side mount will not fit on the 3100 block. Has anyone done this swap and if so how did you make them work? Thanks for your help

I wasn't aware of any changes to the frame mount between '93 and '94. But...

Have you tried using the 3.1 mount? The bolt pattern on teh front of the block is the same and I believe the 3.1 mount attaches the same way as the 3100 mount, just actually dimantions beyond that may have changed.

Is oil pan clearance the issue? I know with my X-11 mount, it will bolt to the block just fine, but the cast oil pan won't clear the U-shaped bracket.

The mount will be just fine... You just need to use the bracketry from the 3100 (the parts on the engine)... the acutal mount is the same exact thing..
