Hi, I own a 95 GA with a 191(3.1 sfi) and i had an idea for a cheap and affordable nitrous system...mount a can of ether in or outside the throttle body and mounting the little red tube from the aerosol can so it points right into the throttle body..and to get it to spray just mount a wire in a tube like lawn mower throttles do in the firewall...has anyone ever thought of or tried something like this?I think it could be a good idea but i was wondering if anyone else had any input

Why are you even considering nitrous? Your other thread makes it pretty clear that these engines are junk, and can't take even the slightest hint of abuse? And now you want to slap a cheapo nitrous system on it? The only thing a cheap, poorly done, untuned nitrous system is going to get you is another blown engine, and us another thread complaining about 660 reliability. If you must do nitrous, spend the money, get a good kit, and have somebody with nitrous experience tune it properly for you.

Man, baaaaaaaaaaaad idea. If you do try it you will most deffinatily blow your cylinder heads clean off. The intake system will run so rich, the detonation will be phenominally bad. Ether is highly explosive and very high octane, doing this is potentially very dangerous. Besides nitous doesn't work like that any way. The purpose of nitrous oxide is only to add the concentrated oxgen to the mix, not fuel. The fuel is added by turning up you fuel GPM and adding a separate injector sytem to add more fuel even out the mix. So your idea is more along the line of propane injection for a diesel engine. But since diesel's have a completely different combustion system and are a very strong engine. Your engine is probably begging you not to try this and will most definatily keel over and die if you do try.
P.S. Don't fucking think about it!!!!!!!!!!!!
