  • 3500 applications?

    What cars/years did they use the 3500 660 on?? Im not sure ive ever even seen one.....

    They started in the 04 Malibu Maxx, and for 2007, they are in just about every car that used to have a 3400. The only vehicles to keep the 3400s are the Equinox (and similar) SUVs.

      I may be wrong but I think '06 is the last year for the LX9 3500 since it is no longer listed on the GM site. http://media.gm.com/us/powertrain/en...2007/07car.htm

      The new LZ4 3500s (same basic engine as the LZ8/LZ9 3900) have the VVT option and are considerably different. It seems that the LX version of the 3500 was short lived. The LZ series could be used in alot of cars but the electronics (VVT & DOD) need to be eliminated or conquered first.
