  • Ready to assemble ...A little help please.....

My 95 3100 is ready to have the 2000+ top end put on it.But before I do I have a couple of question for the all knowing.....
#1 What bolts should I put never-sieze on and what sould I use locktight on?

#2 I know the revised tighten sequence is very specific for the U/L intakes but I cant remember where I saw it.A little help here....?

#3 The roller rockers a removed from the heads currently and I only have the service manual for the 95 3100. What are the torque requirements for the roller rockers?
If anyone else has any suggestions for the top end swap feel free to comment.

    Thankss in advance

Coat the cylinder head bolt threads using GM P/N 1052080 sealer or an equivalent.

Here are the specs for every other bolt on the engine http://60degreev6.com/modules.php?op...rtid=38&page=1
    1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma
    1990 4Door, 3.2L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. 4X4. Trooper

What about the upper intake? I have heard people use locktight on them. Didnt GM change the tightening sequence for these as well?

Thanks for the tip on the head bolts!!!

Yes you are suposed to use loctite on the intake manifold bolts. The torque specs on that page is correct. However be sure you tighten all vertical bolts before the angled bolts. The sequence is juat a criss cross pattern.
