I got a 02 3100 malibu, rsm blower, wot heads mizy cam.tog headers, intercooler, and a few other things, In tiny tuner under diagnostics, can someone tell me what the correct setting are for the crank sensor resolution, and disable flash security. my car will shut off while driving down the road in a normal drive, been doing that for quite a while, installed a new iginition switch and some other things with no change, also what does flash security does. thanks

Neither of those will fix your issue... leave both alone. I don't know enough about the flash security to explain it and I know the crank resolution shouldn't be changed unless you changed something with that setup.

What is shutting off causing the engine to die? Fuel pump? Ignition? or is the whole ECU shutting down?

I agree with you on whats shutting the engine, as for the crank sensor, that was changed by accident, do you know the correct setting. thanks

In my TT crank sensor resolution is 1 and disability flash security is 0. This is on a stock 02 Malibu file.

Learn from this experience... Never overwrite your last bin file before testing it. I always make a backup when I start changing odd items.

Thank you, that will help get that issue corrected, as for the engine shutting off, a friend in the garage business just changed the 7x crank sensor only drovr it a few miles since, and it hasn't stopped, hopefully that cures the problen.
