I just fixed the intake manifold on my 95 Buick Century 3100 and now have top end noise. I think I may have either installed a push rod in the wrong valve or else I messed up in re-installing one or more of the lifters (they are rollers). What is the correct position to install a lifter? I believe, correct me if I am wrong, that there is an oil channel or line that has to provide oil to the lifter, and I suspect the lifter has to face that line with the notched side that contains a hole? I am correct or wrong? Also do you know the layout of the valves (Intake and Exhaust) from the engine front to rear for both sides facing front (left cyl 6,4,2) and facing front (right cyl 5,3,1)?
