adding notches to 3100 heads

I'm working on a 95 3100 that has no roller rocker provisions. I'd like to ask if anyone has ever notched their heads and stuck roller rockers from a 96+3100...

CAN IT BE DONE?
HOW HARD WOULD IT BE?
HAS ANYONE EVER DONE THIS?

I am not going to change heads on an otherwise working motor... so I would just stick regular rockers back in if it is not doable.

(I have added roller rockers to pre-notched engine before)

Taking them off to a machine shop would be the only real proper way, so not worth the trouble. If you want more power, putting the large port intakes on will work, but you MUST grind the LIM to clear the non-roller rockers. I did that on my car.
