    just need to make sure of this before i goto the yard this weekend...

    the pre-00 and 00+ fuel rails are the same with injector size and all except the FPR correct? are the FPR's swappable?

    yep they are the same

    FPR is the same physical shape just different PSI

        the pre 00 injectors run on a psi of 43.5 flow 19lb/hr
        the 00+ ones run at a psi of 55 flow 22 lb/hr

          they are the same i checked part numbers, the difference in lb/hr must be made in the FPR

            99 and older are multec 1 and 00+ are multec 2 so it can't be the same part number unless they give you an adapter for the electrical connector.

                24# from what I have heard, but they are shorter than the 3400 injectors.

                  i think im just going to get a aftermarket FPR and changeover the car to returnless rather then swap the fuelrail to return style, sounds like itll be easyer *Sigh*

                    how is that easier?

                    Grab any 3x00 fuel rail, grab 6 injectors from a 3.4 DOHC (24lb/hr) and snag a FPR from a 99 or older 3x00 (43 PSI).

                    oh wait, aren't you using the whole OBD2 setup?

                      yea, full odb2, need to modify the fuel lines either way, i was thinking i can just use the 3line 99vette fuel filter/regulator setup (constant 55psi) they have, run 1 line to the injector rail and the feed/return to the filter. then i wont have to worry about changing the wiring, or clearance on UIM for the FPR
