  • Never get over how hot the 3500 crank is

No matter how many times I see them, they sure are nice. This one has 60k miles and there was still hatches in the bearings from the manufacturing process (AKA change your oil regularly)...

That hatched area is not a bearing surface...

All that I need is a crank, rods, pistons and an oil squirter and I have a 3500 short block... I still have my 4k mile block in my garage...

I'm not talking about the machining marks on the crank, I'm talking about the bearings themselves

Just thought about it, I have all the stuff you need

I have right now in my possession, 3 sets of 3500 rods/pistons, 2 oil squirters and 1 crank and they can all go

Jon, if you are talking about going to full 3500, you need a crank trigger too LOL

well yeah but he doesn't have the crank triggers...

And I'm not thinking about it yet... I was simply stating that I still have that hunk of iron taking up space in my garage...

And your pics didn't show the bearings and the topic was about the crank, so :P LOL
