Hello everyone. I'm thinking of buying a cheap 93 bonneville with 114,000 miles for my sis to get around in. In your experience, do the 90 degree 3.8's in these cars get the same high mileage that I typically see from the 60 degree 3.x/3x00's?

No they do not get better mileage. However the engine is very reliable.1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma

The 3.8's are virtually bullet proof. Reliability is high , however fuel mileage not as good as the 3.x/3x00's as stated.
