  • 3500 Fiero.....sold!!!

due to an emergency i sold the fiero today to my brother. heres the price....FREE

long story short, i just enlisted in the navy for my second time today. my wife decided to flip out and say she wants a divorce after she moved her stuff and our daughter to texas (she was going to stay at her parents house while i was in school, so that was a the plan to start)

    the reason for the divorce?
when i took a drug test today, i was afraid i wouldnt pass, due to the fact that i went to her parents house 2 weeks ago and it wreaked of weed. it was very stong and i even mentioned it to my wife. she didnt seem to care that our 6 month old baby would be exposed to this and said it would be ok. durring the test, it took a while to get the results and the guy had asked if i had been around marijuana. i said no, and the test showed that i was negative for weed.
i told her what happened and she called me a liar, then took up for her parents. said she couldnt trust me and wanted a divorce.

what the hell am i to do? i dont want her to live with me and hate me, and i dont want my daughter to be exposed to some pot-head redneck family....esp if theyre going to be the ones to raise her. i cant do anything cause of the military...i wont beable to be the primary parent because of deployments. why did i ever get married? why did we have a daughter? what did i get myself into??? i love her and my daughter, but im sick of this under-educated jumping to a permanent conclusion to a temporary problem.

    drama drama drama.

i was to tow the fiero to indiana to darths so he could tune it while i was in great lakes. after realizing what my wife was going to do, i concluded that it would be best to save my money, and reduce risk of problems in the near future. so my brother has been wanting a fiero since i had to leave his in VA. heres my repayment to him. this thing has been loaded to the gills and i know i can trust him.

anyways, anyone think this was a wise idea?

Sorry to hear that merlot, as a child free divorcee, I can offer my opinion on the marriage part, try to save your marriage if for nothing else your childs sake since you still love your wife. That's my default setting, on the other hand, it's not an easy task in a situation where your in-laws are more liking to outlaws as a result of their influence.

I'm not going to comment on smoke of any kind and its potential health hazard to a child, that's self explanatory.

The car is the least of your worries, get your financies in order and your feet firmly planted and take an organized approach to your circumstances. Marriage is not the problem in the world, it's the people that create problems that make marriage difficult, you got married hopefully because you felt it was the right thing to do based on what the appropriate reasons are.

I'm a Christian so marriage is for love, pleasure and making babies.

    Keep your head up.

The test was negative so what's all the fuss for?

thats what i said...whats the fuss?!?

i think its coming from her folks to get the divorce. they thought i would take care of her cause i had a good head on my shoulders...recently they acuired a small amount of money from a workers comp suit and they think that theyve struck gold. they have now convinced my wife that she would be fine without me and that there is no need for me any more. they havent had any sort of education and they think they know all. to each his own, i say.

i married my wife cause she made me the happiest person alive. now i feel like the saddest person alive, and dissapointed.

but this kind of thing happens all the time...right? why does it feel like the world is crashing down on me?

regardless, im going to gather myself and move on. all i can do is keep going foward, besides my future is what i make it, and i plan to have an incredible life.

and there will be another 3500 fiero soon, by next year i predict. money is nothing in this world, as long as its nothing ill have everything.

I've also been there. My ex-wife and I had two children together, and she couldn't remain faithful. At one point she had an abortion because she was afraid the child wasn't mine - after that things went sour, and I found out about her escapades. Turns out it was happening almost our entire relationship unbeknowest to me. She told me the night before my little brother passed that she wanted a divorce, and since I feel that adultry was a good reason, I'd grant it (she admitted to being in love with one of my HS buddies!).

I ended up getting custody of the children, got re-married and now have two more - and couldn't be happier.

Everything happens for a reason, we just don't always know why. I'm satisfied with the path that lead me here now. Keep your head up - the good guys do win.

I'm sorry about what is happening. It seems to be happening all to often now in the world. Divorce seems to be the easiest escape for people who have problems, so they take the easy route out. I'm not trying to say that you're taking the easy route out, because you still love your wife and YOU want it to work, but she does not. It always sucks when there is a child involved, because it's sometimes hard for them to understand what is happening. All you can do is keep your head held high and keep reason. It's too bad that you have to get rid of your fiero, but it's also good that it will be one less thing to stress about, or put money into during these tough times. All you can do is be there for your wife, and your child when they need it. With your inlaws, you can't reason with the uneducated just like you can't reason with the over-educated. Yes, they may feel like they've struck gold now, but with their habits it won't last... Just hopefully they and your wife will realize that before it's too late.

I wish you the best of luck. I'm not sure if you're religious at all, or who you may worship. But pray and speak with them if you are.
You may or may not know 10 times what i do.

merlot is my brother, and i bought his fiero so it stays in the family. it is more of a birthday present since yesterday was my birthday.

he is the brains for this since i have no clue about most of it as far as the engine and control goes, and i am just the guy with grease n dirt on him. crazy crazy drama in all of this.
ENGINE HAS INTERNAL DAMAGE. THIS MOTOR WILL BE TAKEN OUT OF THE FIERO AND REPAIRED IN TIME. UNTIL THEN, A L67 WILL RESIDE IN ITS PLACE

Yeah we heard, hope you don't have a knack for blowing up motors the way he does, seems that's where the Lion's share of his success is . So you can look at it as more of a rescue. Take good care of it and hurry up and get that turbo installed.

oh i believe that! just enjoying something you build yourself is addicting to do it again. even if it does fail. then at least you know what you did wrong. i believe that is why jon has gone through so many engines in the fiero.

Different experience than what you may have encountered and possibly not having our lives turned upside down in some ways as a result of being drafted. I'm only a choice of branch and a signature away and if my requests for branch and deployment status is met I'll sign, again. It's not the same for everybody. Now back to the hot wheels.

yea, other than that it is total crap. unless you are a p ussy and cant stand up for yourself and have a weak mind, then you just cant do any better.

                              back to topic.

anyone have a pinout or connector view of a oil pressure sender unit from a newer car? i cant go by colors since the connector i have is from some unknown junker.
