  • Door Lock

I think my drivers door lock cylinder is forked up!

When I put the key in, about 70% of the time the key just gets jammed up and will not turn to unlock the door. I end up having to open the pass. side door and press the button.

Any ideas? I'm going to put some WD-40 or some graphite oil in there to see if it helps, I rather not have to try to replace the lock.

I actually rather just get a whole new door , my drivers window and window track inside the door is all messed up as well. 2 dings in the drivers door as well...

Use graphite don't use oil based stuff. If you have electric locks, I would just get a cheap keyless entry and wire that up. I wouldn't be able to live without mine. I get in/out of the car too much to use a key LOL.
