I know the labor is a big chunk but what part or combination of parts drive the cost up on this transmission. most rebuild quotes I get are $1000 to $1200. Junkies are $700 to $900 \70000 to 90000 miles. My last Turbo 350 I did was like $100! Also there is this guy in south central Illinois says he will replace the fragged planetary/drum and replace all " out of tolerence parts" in my 3.4/4t60e for $450. Says he cant get to it for 1-2 weeks. Covered up right now. Does this sound right to the people on this site who I REALLY trust for advice??
