had trany rebuilt at begining of year. i have had intermitant slipping on 1-2 shift. fluid now brownish instead of pinkish. and now a fragment of metal. time to use warrenty and raise hell

i woulkdnt go raise hell, id go to the place you had it built, and discuss the problem with them. if they are a reputible shop they will fix it, and it shouldnt be a big hassle.
we have people that come in all pissed off and yelling and screaming over a problem they have had with the vehicle after we worked on it. thing is, yelling isnt needed, if there is a problem, we just fix it.
