it's simple ! I have a 1988 j-body whit a manuel HM-282 tranny and I want to know if the two drive axles (driver side and passenger side) are the same ... same longer and fit one side or other? I'm going to dragway and i want to get an axles for security if i broke one of my on the track !!!

Correct, also on our cars a passenger side auto will fit on the driver's side manual
