    RE: mysteriou transmission problems

Check oil level with the engine on..also check the condition of the oil and report back to us. If its not the oil level beeing low..then time for a rebuild.

next time it doesnt engauge when you put it in gear, try all the forward gears before you try reverse and let us know if it does it in all gears or just overdrive.

check the gear selector switch before you decide to rebuild.

and another thing to check before the rebuild is the shift solenoids.

if either one of those goes, you can have the issues your having.

however, the likelyhood of it being either of the two are slim, BUT they do go out befor you would need a rebuild sometimes.

how many miles are on it now?

that tranny flush you did could have flushed what little good stuff you had left holding your clutches together. its a common thing for this to happen in the 4t60e's.

sometimes it also clogges the shift solenoids i was referring to earlier.

the reason I said its time for a rebuild is because if its doing that nutral thing..its the OD clutch sticking..almost seased or damaged. Anyway you look at it...its has to come out. If its working fine...try driving it on D only..not OD...and see if the problem goes away. If it does..then you know OD is going or gone. But still...out she goes.
