When im in first gear when I punch it hard the trany will slip out of gear at like 5k and sit on the rev limeter with no power going eny ware. It also if I punch it turning on to a road it will fall out at like 3k. Does my trany need a flush or an overhaul. I already changed the fluid but that did not help it just made it whores. Nice wast of royal purple atf just to have to do a flush know.

first problem was that you put in Synthetic tranny fluid. its commmon to see the 60e slip as much if not more than usuall with synthetic fluid (without a rebuild)
i would get flush out as much as you can and then put in a DEX3 tranny fluid.
hell, since the tranny is probably toast anyway, do a 50/50 of DEX3 and ATF. that might help you out for a few months.

It was doing it before I put the synthetic tranny fluid in but I dont no what the owner befor me used on it. I think it was a chick she pached scratches with nail polish that does not even come close to matching. I whant to a tranny shop nare here and they told me it was the ecu and to go pound sand but thats BS 8k and its never done that befor like this. They would not even help me just because what it takes 5k to make it do it and they will not test that so then they whent off calling me a race car driver just to piss me off. I left saying thanks for nothing. I should of pulled one of my drag wheels (Mickey Thompson et street radials) out of the trunk and stick it to the window a gave him the bird.

id find another shop. it deffinitly is an internal problem to be falling out of gear.
did you do the fluid change yourself??? im assuming you pulled the pan off, so what did you find in it??? was there lots of black (clutch), metal on the magnet (a bit is normal, but if it was hairy, its to much)???
