I want to put a 5 speed in my 91 Z24. Does anybody know the exact steps I need to take to get it done? I have found a sheet on a how-to page but it's only for 88 to 90 Z24. I know there are some differences from 90 to 91. I have a 5 speed transmission and wiring harness that I believe came out of a 93 Z24. Anybody ever attempted this and want to help me out?

I guess that "how-to" you found is on v6z24? It'd be basically the same things, it's just that when they wrote up that how to they used an older one. One thing that will be different is the clutch hydraulics will HAVE to come from a '93-94 model J-car. They used a hydraulic release bearing, so the trans doesn't have provisions for the older style throwout bearing, fork, and slave cylinder.
