    X-11 Tranny R&R

    Hey guys and gals,
    I FINALLY started making headway with my blown tranny ordeal!!
    Yippee!! I managed to get the tranny out by splitting the subframe
    BUT didnt have to remove the drivers side half shaft (as per manual)
    because I undid the lower ball joint. Now the clean-up and re-install
    begins. Damn, I cant wait to get the black beast back on the road,
    tearing up the pavement!!

    P.S. Does anyone know what the factory calls for, time wise, to R&R
    a tranny?
    Tuning a car is full of compromises. You must decide if you are willing to give up either reliability, performance, or a whole load of cash. Also remember that repairs will seem to come up much more often as you strive for even more performance

        Based on the title, it is an X-11, with a 2.8 V6.

          Can I see a pic of the X-11. Never seen one. Or probabally did but never knew what I was looking at.

                            Thanks racerx11 for taking up my slack (been too bizy tokin). Prof. the car has a muncie 4 speed stick shift. Reattas are wicked sick cool! Know where any are for sale cheap? I hope to make some more progress on this car but the damn weather isnt cooperating! Oh well, all things in time I guess (as long as time is before winter sets in!).
                            I know this is prolly the wrong place to ask BUT..... would anyone here have any shifter cable clips they would be willing to part with? I need the large ones that came on 82+ Citations, all Celebs, and I believe all Fieros? I got new cables with the shifter but the didnt have the clips at the tranny.

                              i have two rettas
                              i know there was this one 93 gt 5 speed for sale a month ago not too far form here
                              only 120000 or some on it too but it was like 2500
