I finally tracked down the HO Quad 4 transmission I was looking for.
Actually, finding these transmissions was easy, but everyone wants a fortune for them.
I located one at a wreckers about 2 hours away from me for only $150 CDN!!! I don't know how many miles are on it, but I'm gonna get it checked out first to be sure I don't have to do this again any time soon.
The VIN checks out to be a 1992 Grand Am GT with a VIN code A engine, which is the HO Quad, which tells me it should be the 3.94 final drive.
Just to be sure, I just checked the rotations in 4th gear, and it checks out too.
