  • Hard parts for 4T45E

Does anyone sell "performance" hard parts for the 4T45E? Specifically, a hardened/treated input shaft?

      Nothing off-the-shelf.
Maybe take a stock input shaft and get it cryo-treated.
Superior Transmission makes billet accumulator pistons, and Raybestos makes Blue Plate clutches.
      That's about it.

          Replaced this:

With a high alloy steel content shaft. Hope it lasts or else! :<

From the inspection side of things, the trans had no heat or cooling problems.. The rest of the trans was fine with respective wear on the band. We've concluded that it was not a defective part and that something of greater force made that happen.
