Hi all, looking around, but haven't found the exact information needed. I'm wondering what my options would be for my 1996 beretta z-26 as far as auto to manual swap. The getrag 282 5 speed came up in my search, and I'm to understand there's 2 mounts to the frame, I have the 3100 sfi engine, and am planning on tuning in a twin turbo. So I don't know if the 282 is good enough for that, but if anyone could point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it. If I can get everything I need, and as far as I've seen so far I'd need stage 2 clutch kit, as well as I want a performance chip so I'm pretty much in a rut here as far as everything I'd need for either the 282, or any better trannys that will work. Thanks in advance!

The 282 will outlast the stage 2 clutch, thats for sure.
I beat the crap out of mine very often and it is holding up well. It has a bad input shaft bearing and sloppy diff bearings, so one of these days its going to launch. I am looking for a spare just incase.95 Beretta- Lg8 Daily Driver
