    Happening more often now

Got the car washed and got back in and put it in drive. Took the tranny about 3 seconds to catch. 2 minutes later Im on the street and give it gas and it revvs a bit then goes. no chirp somth transfer.

Car can still spin and smoke the tires but i dont do this often.

Well check the fluid and make sure it is full and not fubarred.

It doesn't have to be cherry red but it shouldn't be dark brown and smell burnt.

If it is, you have a problem, and need to get it checked out.

    Mileage?

Do the easy stuff first and see what happens.

    DON'T do a full flush!

Drop the pan, change the filter. That is all good.

But a full flush will likely do more harm than good.

what year? the newer 45E's had revisions to the valve bodies. when does the slipping happen? the TCC is allowed to slip between 20-50 rpm, never fully locking. if you quickly give more gas, but not enough to unlock the TCC, the rpm will climb 200-300 rpm and then drop back down.
