  • Stage 3 Clutch Q:

Im ordering a Spec stage 3 for my 282 /TGP and would like to know advantaged/disadvantages of a 4 or 6 puck. The clutch says its rated for 450 tq so as long as it doesnt slip under boost ill be happy, i just want to know the deal about the 4/ 6 puck , id appreciate your input.

Fewer pucks means greater clamping force. So it would be harder for the clutch to slip with the 4 puck.

at the expense of more pedal pressure required to disengage it? or will it chatter more at low load/speed? i forgot what all it effects..

don't mind me, i ramble on a lot, get the 4 puck, you probably wouldn't get it to slip with either clutch at first but when it starts getting worn down, the 4 puck will be more reliable
