  • S10 clutch?

Does anyone know the dimentions of a stock 2.8 rwd clutch? I'm mostly looking for the friction surface dimentions. Overall diameter and width of the friction material.

also how many teeth are on the spline in the middle?
any pics if you had them would be nice to but im mostly after dimentions.
    thanks

Centerforce's website usually shows stuff like that if it's a clutch they manufacture a replacement for.

The I4 and V6 T5's use a 1" 14 spline input shaft. I am not sure on the clutch dimensions though.

I found the dimentions on an s10 forum, the clutch is 9 1/8 in diameter.

Just figured I'd post that up incase someone stumbled acrossed this later.

I don't remember where I found it on their website. All I know is the Centerforce I bought for my Ranger last year was sitting on my shelf still when my trans went out, so I changed out the old stock clutch for it while I was down there. The car my clutch came out of was one of those Murker XR4-Ti's. The part numbers for both the car and my truck were different, but I went by spline count and disc size to make sure it was compatible with my tranny. The pressure plate bolted on just fine, and the disc had the right spline count, so I threw it in. I haven't had a problem with it yet, and I can't get the thing to slip without riding the clutch. I even pulled a huge freaking Tahoe on a tow dolly with my truck and it never once slipped.
