  • Question : trans issus

ok well were to start i have a 92 Buick regal custom 3.1 T!!!!
3.1 was the only joy i had in buying it well the engine good and strong little to no valve train noise
my first car was a cavi 3.1 5 speed
understanding that this car and that is like apples to oranges its almost half again the weight
    any way
the trany has a good mind to do and say what it wants to when passing gear and overdrive are concerned and if its tcc
well sometimes it will kick down some times it wont and
same thing with in or out of over drive
it is vacuum modulated and detent cable
and the newest issu the speedo sensor just stoped working all together i need one
    if anyone has one
    it is a 4T60
one more odd question im @ 125000 how do i service the diff cause i doubt its been done

Diff doesn't need to be serviced.... Some trans have a serviceable diff which just means you can replace the diff without taking the guts out of the trans to get to it.

2 the trany has a good mind to do and say what it wants to when passing gear and overdrive are concerned and/ or if its tcc

check the TV cables for sure to see if they are in proper order.

Hit up a junkyard, maybe even www.car-part.com for the VSS.
