I think making a W-body good at stopping is like making a Geo Metro fast, the easiest way is to sell it and get a bicycle.

But Pocket Rocket, form what I hear, had a pretty impressive braking system on his Z34. Supposedly it slammed your face into the windshield. But I do not know what he used as far as components go, but I have not heard or seen any aftermarket pieces.

Pocket Rocket's kit was from RSM I think? Stops pretty nicely!

I will be doing a cheaper, yet near identical kit as RSM. Its BAER brakes from a C4 corvette with a rear adapter plate and cutting/welding the fronts on the front. They want 2700 or more for the kit but I think I can manage much less than 2000 for it. yes, its amazing that the w body brakes so well with it...but its also 13" front, 12" rear. I am looking to do for my car a 12" front and 11" rear so I can use the stock rotors. This would probably be closer to the stock C4 corvette brakes.

Downside to the 13/12 brakes, it slows the car down quite a bit with all that mass, and needs 17" rims. This is why I won't be doing it...well, that and RSM sucks my ass and charges too much:P

I dont know any real details because this hasn't been a priority for me at th emoment. Space and money are my biggest hold backs right now, and the DOHC intake is my first priority. Im also not sure what differences I would have to account for with the newer rear brakes of 94+, or the newer front brakes from whatever year they came out. Id be starting with 88-93 since that is what my car has and that makes the test vehicle easy to find:P After that, ill work on the rest.

A 10-sec Geo Metro? How slow is that? I have visual documentation of a 9 sec Metro.

Oh, sure...make rules all right away! The one I'm referring to runs a GNX drivetrain. Totally badass.
