OK i have my mustang cobra wheels to put on and they are 17x8 not sure of offset but they fit excellent.. I can get some Kuhmo 275/40/17 Tires for them for 200$ for all 4.. Do you think that a 275 will rub?? I Think it might rub but could possibly clear.. Anyone out there that has delt with tire situations please help.. Thanks

a 275 on an 8 inch rim is a waste. you'll get equal or more contact with a 255 with a 10 inch rim. before you can know anything, you have to know the offset. i'll still put my money on them rubbing, if not on the front, then the rear. i have 225/50s on a 16x7.5 and they rub slightly on the fronts and more so in the rear quarters. i still have to grind the quarters more.Andy
