i am trying to find headers or manifolds that will fit before i turbo my car and it occurred to me that these may fit and are available pretty cheap. Anyone know for sure?

RE: will 2.8 fiero headers fit on a

port shape is different, not sure if the bolt holes are different, im farily sure the header routing is different. You need S&S headers for the 3400, they will bolt up, you need to deal with fround mount and firewall clearnce issues though

Any iron head 2.8 header (including Fiero and the Isuzu Trooper) will have the following differences:

-Port shape, the genI (iron head) uses a round port, where as the genIII uses a D-shaped port.
-Bolt spacing, the bolt spacing is wider on a genIII head than genII. The bolts are spaced farther apart accross the port, by 1/2" IIRC.

Could a Fiero header be used, as far as modification to fit the genIII head goes, sure. There is a thread in the engine swap forum started by whiteraider, in which I describe the needed modifications.

The big issue will be chassis fitment, just because it may fit the engine, doesn't mean that it will fit that engine in that chassis.
