My 97 Lumina sedan just suffered a hydrolocked engine while turning the flooded corner of my street, thus my need for a new engine. I've heard that the Lumina is somewhat more prone to this than other vehicles. I need some input from disinterested parties since my insurance company claims the occurrence was coincidental and not related to the flooded street. There was water in the air cleaner area so my mechanics say the street water is to blame.
