  • 3.1 MPFI swap problem :(

    Hey guys,
Long time no talk.. sorry Ive been doin my engine swap as best i could... Ive got the 3.1 engine on my old 125-C 3 speed Tranny and I dropped it back in the Citation. I dropped the fuel tank, installed the stronger fuel pump. Ran new fuel lines the length of the car got my axles/spindles/rotors/brakes back on and routed the Engine Harness to the various spots But ive run into a terrible snag. I got Diagrams that dont really match up with my wiring and I did what best i could with the wiring to match it to the citations Bulkhead plug.. Only problem is I GET NO POWER TO THE CAR.. I traced my hot leads and I get power goin to my Relays BUT i dont get power coming away from them and also on the computer i get power on C16 and B1 for the ECM which are B+ on the diagrams aside from that tho.. I get nothing, Do you guys have any ideas? Or maybe someone has the Diagrams im looking for?
Its an 82 Chevy Citation which had the 2.5 tbi Engine it has p/b and p/s
The new engine is out of a 1990 Pontiac 6000LE and its a 3.1 MPFI and that car had the p/b and p/s and tilt steering.. *I was told to mention options*
Any Advice would be great guys.
Like i said im simply not gettin any power goin away from the relays and ive been dead stopped on this for 3 days now
    Thanks Alot guys

I gotta ask. Have you verified all your grounds? Do you have all the grounds attached to the block, firewall, chassis and battery?

So are you saying that you are not getting power inside the car? Verify the pins are right, also make sure the bulkhead connector is connected tightly, provided it is like teh driver side bulkhead plug on J-bodies, which it sounds like you are decribing.
