  • Got a 95 Ga in need!!!

OK so i picked up a 95 3.1 auto ga and i was going to do the 3400 swap in it and picked up a 3400 for $50 bucks. That has passed do to my friend that was going to do the swap for me having shoulder surgery. so now i have a 95 3.1 auto and a 3400 that i don't know how to swap and as for money i don't have it now due to being layed off but i have ever do have a Crane 272H cam & lifters that i was going to use for my long sold fiero with a camaro 3.4 so with that being it comes down to me asking a few questions.

    3400 is a 04 outta a impala:
Could i use my 3400 heads on the 95 3.1 and only help performance?
Can i use my 272H cam & lifters in my 3.1 with 3400 heads?
Is there anything besides a set of 3500 exhaust manny's that i could do to help flow and performance w/o spending alot of money?
If my cam and liters don't work in my 95 3.1 could 3.1 could i use (block wise) so that i can use this $400 dollar cam

Sorry new to all this v6 stuff

The 3400 heads and intake manifolds will bolt on and you should see some increase in power and torque. The newer large-port 3100's have the same setup and produce an extra 20hp and 10 lbs-ft over the old small-port version. Using a 3400 throttlebody will also give slightly more. You will still need an EGR adapter, a 3-wire coolant sensor from a 96 grand am to retain the dash coolant temp gauge, and you will have to tap the coolant port on the lower intake to 1/2" npt for the heatercore fitting.

The 3x00 V6's have a hydraulic roller valvetrain and I think the RWD 3.4L's are tappet.
