i have a 98 grand am gt with the 2.4 and a 5 speed i know they came stock with a 3100 also but it was automatic and the 5 speed gts only came with a four cylinder so my question is why wont the 3100 bolt to the 2.4's trans? i know the engine will bolt right in and have access to the engine and the harness and everything but i read somewhere that the trans wont bolt to the engine so if someone has some pics of the difference in the bolt pattern on the trans id appreciate it. also my friends 94 cavalier is a 3.1 with a 5 speed so this should work shouldn't it?
