    all you ever wanted to know about engine swapping and Cavaliers can be found here: http://www.v6z24.com/jbodyforum/j-bo...rmance-f2.html

    I did the LX9 3500. It required heavy mods to the rear motor mount, completely custom front mount, external crankshaft trigger and lots of other random things covered in the 3500 swap sticky here: http://www.v6z24.com/jbodyforum/3500...ls-t98567.html

        a stock 3500 will run you around 2000ish is my guess. with added go-fast stuff, another 1000. i'll be close to 2000 on my 3500 build, but that's only because i already had a 3400 swapped in before i started.

        Cammed 3400 --> 224whp 210wtq
        Cammed 3500 --> ???

            2000 dollars for the 3500, redbird will have to tell you about the time necessary
            1995 Monte Carlo LS 3100, 4T60E...for now, future plans include driving it until the wheels fall off!

              $2000 is a good estimate for the total cost to put in a 3500 and get it running.

              I modified the mounts and made my own front mount for free at work, there are build plans for a 3400 mount on www.v6z24.com.. it would need to be modified slightly to work with a 3500.

              If this is your first swap, then i'd go for a 3400. It's a little less involved and will still make great power. Here are the details: http://www.domesticcrew.com/installguide.htm
