    The owner ignored the low oil pressure light for about 6 months, it spun a rod bearing.

    We drove it into the shop and tried to blow it.. it sounded like hell but still ran. lol

      What is the problem with the 3100? If it is a bottem end problem you can swap the 3.1 crank, rods, and pistons in the 3100 block then use the 3.1 iron head gaskets to bring the CR back up near stock.
